The Vieil Abricot Oloroso Sherry Cask Finish (Brandy) is aged in ex-Sherry Oloroso casks after distillation. After the ageing process, the brandy is lightly sweetened to give it its typical, more bitter-than-sweet character. This is supported by the noticeable aromas from the Sherry Oloroso cask, which round out the flavour profile and give the Vieil Abricot Oloroso Sherry Cask Finish its distinctive character. This can be enjoyed as a digestif, either neat or on the rocks, or as an accompaniment to a dessert.
